Still, a real fisherman would have taken full advantage of the situation. As known: The larger the bait, the larger the fish....I don't know what they would have caught, but it sure would have been worth a photo on Facebook.
Using a small pair of bolt cutter or hardy set of tin snips, cut the barb off the hook and it comes out easy. Disinfect with some good American whiskey.
