Should I take the bait?

Smoking Hot Little Barefoot Gardening Squaw sends me this a few minutes ago and hasn't said anything since...

I think she's playing head games with me.

Kinda what I was thinking Phil. Carbureted engines are much more my speed than anything fuel injected because you don't have to fuck with computers and can get to pretty much anything on the engine without having to take it apart. I think you'd know a little bit about that kind of fucking headache.I think a nice cammed out Boss 302 would really set that bitch off. Thanks for the input my brother.

Sounds like permission to me. If nothing else there's plausible deniability since she sent it to you. Get it!

Unless you are a restoration professional - walk away. I too worship the metal gods at the altar of Motorcraft, Boss and Edlebrock...and I know of which I speak. That beast is going to need major work and to restore it yourself is going to take at least one pro and possibly a couple more. Unless you have industry connections you cannot restore that girl with a reasonable budget. Sure, you can part it out...but there are easier ways to make a $1000.00 IMHO.

I urge the noobs to start with projects that they know they can handle and to make full use of the bolt on accessories. Believe it or not - you can get spectacular results with the mass produced stuff IF you have an eye for elegance and style. Anyone can pimp a ride...but achieving style takes talent.

If you have the skills - lock her up and get busy! I wish you the best of luck!

It all depends on if you want a show car or a driver, maybe even a weekend track car.
If a driver is what you want then you can do it low cost. But don't do cheap, do inexpensive. A world of difference between the two.
If it is a show car that you want, are you willing to spend the price of a new Mustang GT?
Track car, SVRA $50,000 or 24 Hours of LeMons $500?

After doing a bit more investigating on it I decided to pass. No title es no bueno.
