We are highly anticipating this movie. No word yet on when it will hit where I can go and see it. Many a day of my young life were spent on Big Cypress Bayou. We had a river shack that all of our kinfolk would pile up in on the weekends. Family breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, and us kids even ate the fried crunchy fish tails like they were a prize among us. If we were lucky, we even missed a day of school every now and then because Long's Camp Road was flooded and we couldn't get out of the bottom and up to the highway to go home on Sundays. That water was as slick as glass in the mornings and perfect for a little pirogue slip into the slough to go run lines or go dig for arrowheads at the exposed clay deposits on the river bank and sand bars. Good times.

Don't let the man get you...
