World's first sonic tractor beam lifts objects using sound waves

Now that is cool. Imagine the possibilities.

Read up on Tesla. What he was doing way back when is still mind blowing to me. Had he been able to give free energy technology to the public, there is no telling what the world would be like today.

MY favorite Tesla story comes from the short time he goofed around with sound waves, to identify the frequencies where things would vibrate apart- after he turned his speakers face down, the local police had to come to his house hat in hand and ask him to please stop making earthquakes. He never did publish the frequency that made those... but he definitely found it.

Tesla just about brought the damned building down once he set his little magic box into action. It had to be destroyed with a hammer because he couldn't turn it off. He was born a century too early.

Makes you wonder if John Galt's generator was based on the design Tesla was trying to develop. What a piece of equipment that would have been.

You can say that again. Just imagine the technology that has been hidden throughout time and kept in the hands of few for evil purposes.
