Revenge is a dish best served handcuffed...
Exhibit A:
Exhibit B:
Police said no one was hurt when Frein was taken into custody at an abandoned airplane hangar in the Poconos, Philly.com reported.
ABC News reported that Pennsylvania State Police Commissioner Lt. Col. George Bivens said the cut on Frein's face is not the result of a battle with police. "That was an injury that occurred to him sometime in his flight," he said.
State Police Commissioner Frank Noonan also said the injury was not suffered during the arrest and said Frein looked "fairly healthy" when arrested, the Scranton Times-Tribune reported.
Okay, let me say something here..
If you believe this guy was injured before he was caught, you're high right now. I'm not saying he did or didn't deserve it, there's a lot of hard feelings over this whole ordeal. I seriously doubt that they even needed to address his broken nose, scrapes, and possible orbital socket injury to anyone, given the situation he put himself in. Folks up there more than likely could care less if he was injured. I don't care either way because I know if you want to dance, you've got to pay the fiddler sooner or later. I don't know why he attacked LEO unprovoked like that. I say unprovoked, hell, it could've been something as stupid as a traffic citation that set him off. I don't know his reasoning, but I guess we'll soon find out.
When I used to work as bouncer in clubs (cue the Road House jokes), sometimes guys would fall down as they were being escorted out to the street. Sometimes, people take spills over tables and bar stools because they are in their way. It happens. And, if you were unfortunate enough to have to take a trip in an elevator down to the street with several other bouncers in there with you, well, let's just say grown men can still hit high notes that would make Mariah Carey ambitious. It kind of comes with the territory, especially when a son of a bitch cuts you with a beer bottle and all you were trying to do was help him not get killed or beaten into a pile of mush.
Anyways, they caught the guy and he's going to feel the full wrath of the old saying "present choices determine future consequences" very soon.
Happy Halloween
Everybody all set for the trick or treat hordes tonight?
Costume? Check...
Busy day today. Month end, corporate overlords, and share holder investors needing answers to make sure they get their returns in order to keep paying elitist country club dues and sending their kids off to fancy indoctrination centers. I'll be a consultant in my field in just a few more years and then I can tell these suits that I hope they fucking choke on their status reports. :) Have a great day folks!

And this one time, at pistol camp...
It went a little something like this :
Dude: Stackz, Man I have this pistol I need you to look at.
Me: Oh yeah? What's wrong with it?
Dude: Well, it won't load from the magazine and I have to manually drop rounds into the chamber. And I think there may be something wrong with the firing pin. It feels like it doesn't want to shoot sometimes.
Me: Yeah son, that's no bueno por caca.
Me: When's the last time you cleaned it?
Dude: Never, I don't even know how to take it apart.
Me: Eye twitch begins
Dude: Can I bring it by and have you take a look at it?
Me: Yeah man, come on...
So I break this fucking boat anchor down to start inspecting. I like a good thorough strip even if it doesn't need it because a lot of times I end up finding more problems.
Okay, before the Hi-Point haters show up and start talking shit, remember that not everybody has the means to afford higher end manufacturers of high speed impalement devices. As ugly and as heavy as these pistols are, they still serve their purpose if that's all you got or you need to club a fucking baby seal to death.
Pretty sure I found his problem. Some people's kids...

Clean your damn weapons people.
And I also noticed this:
Which should look like this below, a solid piece of buffer spring plastic instead of the two pieces above. It looks like a piece of Bic pen to me.
I cleaned up his feed ramp to reveal that shiny and smooth polished shit that lead likes to glide up against as it goes into the chamber. Instead of putting it all back together I advised him of Hi-Point's policy on repairs. He took full advantage of it, sent it in unassembled for a new firing pin spring buffer Bic pen looking thingy and they sent it back to him all nice, neat, and put back together, with a new magazine. Can't beat that with a stick. He said it fired like the day he got it from then on. I'd imagine it did, without a 1/16th's worth of buildup on the ramp this time.
I try to help out where and when I can for my friends. I love most of em' to death, but some of em', I find it hard to believe that their mama didn't hittem' in the head with a hammer as youngins' and raise a hog on the breast milk.
Take care of your people.
Amelia Earhart plane fragment identified
A fragment of Amelia Earhart's lost aircraft has been identified to a high degree of certainty for the first time ever since her plane vanished over the Pacific Ocean on July 2, 1937, in a record attempt to fly around the world at the equator.
New research strongly suggests that a piece of aluminum aircraft debris recovered in 1991 from Nikumaroro, an uninhabited atoll in the southwestern Pacific republic of Kiribati, does belong to Earhart’s twin-engined Lockheed Electra.
The search for Amelia Earhart is about to continue in the pristine waters of a tiny uninhabited island, Nikumaroro, between Hawaii and Australia.
According to researchers at The International Group for Historic Aircraft Recovery (TIGHAR), which has long been investigating the last, fateful flight taken by Earhart 77 years ago, the aluminum sheet is a patch of metal installed on the Electra during the aviator’s eight-day stay in Miami, which was the fourth stop on her attempt to circumnavigate the globe.

Suspected meth dealer's dog helps police track him down
PRATTVILLE, AL (WSFA) - A suspected meth dealer who fled from authorities found himself in custody because of the betrayal of man's best friend, his own dog. Authorities say Edward Melvin Henderson was at a residence on County Road 85 when the Prattville Drug Enforcement Unit arrived with a search warrant.
The man quickly bolted for the back door where, just beyond, a 25-foot ravine separated him from freedom. Henderson jumped right into it and kept running.
Officers were approaching the ravine to find the fleeing suspect when the man's dog, a mixed breed Pit Bull and Huskie, ran right up to them. Pit Bulls have gained a reputation for controversy and, in some cases, have even been shot dead by law enforcement. But when the cream colored pooch later identified as Bo approached the officers, they drew their fingers and aimed them straight at the suspect.

Quarantine ordered for troops returning from W. Africa
U.S. troops returning from Ebola-stricken nations will be isolated for 21 days, Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel announced Wednesday, a day after the White House raised concerns about states imposing strict quarantines of health care workers returning from West Africa.
Top commanders for the Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps made the recommendation to Hagel on Tuesday. The Army instituted an isolation requirement for 21 days — the incubation period for the deadly virus — on Monday.
Hagel directed the isolation policy be reviewed in 45 days to see whether it was necessary to continue with it, said Rear Adm. John Kirby, Pentagon press secretary

Parent banned from La Plata HS after Islam homework dispute
The father of a La Plata High School student has been barred from the
school grounds after officials said he threatened to disrupt the school
environment.
Kevin Wood was issued a no-trespass order last week after a telephone call with La Plata High Vice Principal Shannon Morris on Thursday. Wood called to air complaints regarding his daughter’s world history assignment that asked students to examine elements of the Islamic religion.
Morris and La Plata High Principal Evelyn Arnold reported to the Charles County Public Schools central office that Wood in his phone call had threatened to upset the school environment in some way Monday, according to school spokeswoman Katie O’Malley-Simpson. O’Malley-Simpson declined to elaborate on what threats Wood had made.
If the trespass order is ignored, police could be called and have the violator removed.
“We don’t take that lightly,” said O’Malley-Simpson. “We have a lot of students, and safety comes first. We don’t allow disruptions at the schools, especially if we’re forewarned of them.”
Wood, a former corporal with the U.S. Marine Corps, where he was enlisted for eight years, said in an interview Monday afternoon outside of the school system’s central office that he did not wish for his daughter, a junior at La Plata, to learn the Islamic religion, a faith he does “not believe in,” he said.

I think it's a great opportunity for the kids to have the chance to learn about the people who want to wipe them from the face of the earth if it's taught how it should be, with no political correctness and sensitivity bullshit. We all need to know who our enemies are. The Dad has a valid concern about what his child is being taught. Being one of his child's only true advocates, along with her mother, he has every right to agree or disagree with what his child is taught and learns at the local indoctrination center. With a name like O'Malley-Simpson being the school spokeswoman, I don't have any doubt as to where her head is in all of this.
Like love, spirituality can’t be intellectually or mathematically proven, but our emotions tell us there is a dimension to life that transcends the logical, physical realm. I don't hold judgement against all followers of Islam because there a few who have been damn good friends of mine for many years and have never once referred to me as an Infidel or have ever said anything fly about my beliefs. They feel pretty much the same about the whackos as I do, and in fact, I recently had a long in-depth conversation with one of them about ISIS and how they've shit-canned relations over there that the Americans and natives have built up since we've been in the GWOT. They give the majority a bad name, and there will always be those who take it to extremes. But, is there a distinct ceiling limit as to how far you can take it, especially when it crosses over into infringing on those who don't feel the same way you do? FOR SURE. I know there are nut jobs in every religion. I'm aware that people are more than willing to die for their faith to make an example or martyr themselves. I'm all for religious freedom and believing in what you want to believe, but when it gets into covering a religion in school that is known to produce and be associated with terrorism related activity world wide, that's where I'd draw the line too. But, you know that fact wasn't brought up once, but most of the kids in that class were thinking it I guarantee. Having the training I've had, I'll more than likely have my guard up for the rest of my life.
Call me crazy, but it ain't and never has been the fucking Presbyterians, Catholics, Baptists, Protestants, Lutherans, Seventh Day Adventists, Mormons, or Methodists plotting to fly planes into buildings, behead people, and cause mass panic and destruction by expressing faith and belief or no faith and belief in a God. I'm not here to debate about what you believe in or sway your opinion of such beliefs either way. Just saying is all... Carry on...

Pope says evolution, Big Bang are real
VATICAN CITY — Pope Francis has waded into the controversial debate over the origins of human life, saying the big bang theory did not contradict the role of a divine creator, but even required it.
The pope was addressing the plenary assembly of the Pontifical Academy of Sciences, which gathered Monday at the Vatican to discuss "Evolving Concepts of Nature."
"When we read about Creation in Genesis, we run the risk of imagining God was a magician, with a magic wand able to do everything. But that is not so," Francis said.
"He created human beings and let them develop according to the internal laws that he gave to each one so they would reach their fulfillment."
Francis said the beginning of the world was not "a work of chaos" but created from a principle of love. He said sometimes competing beliefs in creation and evolution could co-exist.

Scientists Admit They Can Control Weather with Lasers
For many Americans who wished they could change the weather — whether it be in the Northeast during last winter or in drought-stricken California — researchers have found a way to aim a high-energy laser beam into clouds to make it rain or trigger lightning.
The existence of condensation, storms and lightning are all due to the presence of large amounts of static electricity in the clouds. Researchers from the University of Central Florida and the University of Arizona say that a laser beam activate those large amounts of static electricity and create storms on demand.
By surrounding a beam with another beam that will act as an energy reservoir, the central beam will be sustained for greater distances than previously believed possible. The secondary beam will refuel and help to prevent the dissipation of the primary beam, which would break down quickly on its own.
Although lasers can already travel great distances, it behaves differently than usual, collapsing inward on itself when a laser beam becomes intense enough, according to Matthew Mills, a graduate student at the UFC Center for Research and Education in Optics and Lasers.

Like we didn't know this already. They've been playing with the weather for almost 70 years now. Now why would anyone want to manipulate the natural climate and cycles of the earth's weather? How could someone possibly benefit from manipulating the Jet Stream? Who would it benefit to use this technology to cause poor crop yields? Who would it benefit to know that an upcoming crop of a particular fruit or veggie is going to be short?
It's a big club, and we ain't in it...

Desert Hawks
NOGALES, Ariz. — A former U.S. Marine Corps combat veteran, dressed in camouflage, scans Mexican radio traffic as he sits beneath a mesquite tree in the moonlight in southern Arizona about a mile north of the border with Mexico.
Using a field radio and military-style calls signs, he talks to two other reconnaissance teams of veterans with night-vision gear and semiautomatic weapons stationed at lookout posts on nearby hilltops, alerting them to possible drug-smuggling activity on the southern side.
“Right now … It’s kind of a Mexican stand-off,” said “Spartan,” who said he served tours in Iraq and Afghanistan and asked not to be identified by name. “They are basically waiting for the Border Patrol shift change, and when that happens, probably we will be able to stop that,” he said, referring to the suspected drug mules trying to cross the border.
He was among veterans from states such as Arizona, Maryland, Texas and Wyoming who took part in a week long reconnaissance operation in the remote high-desert corridor some 30 miles west of the border city of Nogales.

No matter what your stance is on this entire border fiasco, one thing remains certain, Americans still give a shit about this country and are willing to wade into danger creek to preserve her. Do they make a difference out there in the middle of all of the Federal and State hands tending to the border? I'd say they do. They share their intel with the BP. What's wrong with having extra eyes and ears? As Americans, WE ARE ALL UNORGANIZED MILITIA.
"Who are the militia? Are they not ourselves? Is it feared, then, that we shall turn our arms each man against his own bosom? Congress shall have no power to disarm the militia. Their swords, and every other terrible implement of the soldier, are the birthright of an American ... The unlimited power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or state governments, but where I trust in God it will ever remain, in the hands of the People." -- Tench Coxe, 1788.
"And what country can preserve its liberties, if its rulers are not warned from time to time that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms...the tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure." -- Thomas Jefferson
"Today, we need a nation of Minutemen, citizens who are not only prepared to take arms, but citizens who regard the preservation of freedom as the basic purpose of their daily life and who are willing to consciously work and sacrifice for that freedom." -- John F. Kennedy
Fresno-area mom uses high-heeled shoe to scare off home intruder
HANFORD, Calif. --
Kings County sheriff's deputies were able to arrest the suspect who nearly got away.
It was the middle of the night when the mother says she heard creaking and footsteps inside her home. That's when she grabbed the nearest weapon she could find -- a high-heeled shoe. The back door was slightly open and there was noise coming from the kitchen.

I applaud the mama for standing her ground and protecting what is rightfully hers. However, this could have gotten very ugly, very fast. In that moment, when you engage a stranger or intruder in your house and you're armed with a high heeled shoe, you'd better be prepared to deal with the defense of said high heeled shoe. Most criminals are going to see you standing there with a shoe and laugh at you as they remove you of your incisors via a punch or rifle butt. The lady was lucky the illegal invader didn't have any fight in him.

Stunning federal corruption case moving forward with almost no media attention
Corrupt federal prosecutors presenting false evidence in order to shake down a blameless corporation and bring in tens of millions of dollars seems like a pretty dramatic story. Especially when former prosecutors support the charge and a chief judge acts on the allegations and takes dramatic action. Yet the media silence is deafening.
Eric Holder’s Justice Department is implicated in a dramatic and shocking case of alleged corruption that is so bad that the Chief Judge of the Eastern District of California has taken what can rightly be called the “nuclear option” and recused all the judges in the district from the case because they may have been defrauded by the DoJ prosecutors.

Lawfare: a form of asymmetric warfare that covertly threatens democracy through the manipulation of laws.
The question is not 'Who is the target?' but 'What is the
intention?' behind the legal action: Is it to pursue justice, to apply
the law in the interests of freedom and democracy, or is the intent to
undermine the very system of laws being manipulated?

11-year-old hunter bags rare albino deer
HOWELL, Mich. — It's rare that an 11-year-old hunter bags a 12-point buck with a crossbow.
It's even more rare when that buck is an albino deer.
Gavin Dingman of Oceola Township took down the trophy buck last week while hunting with his father, Mick Dingman.
"He kind of feels like a rock star right now. Everyone is calling, all of the hunting shows and hunting magazines," Mick Dingman said.
The Dingmans had spotted the albino deer several times over the past couple of years and had even snapped photos of it.

That's a rare animal indeed. Due to albinism, there is a lack of melanin pigment formation. Melanin protects our skin from harmful UV rays which are carcinogenic. Animals with albinism can have a shorter lifespan as a result of the decreased ability to hide from predators, due to lack of natural camouflage. In other words, a white deer sticks out like a diamond in a goats ass, and natural predators love that kind of thing.

Trying harder
The other day my smokin' hot little barefoot gardening squaw put me on something that really caught my attention. It was an article from a guy who just like me, is a father of daughters, who is just trying to carve out a path in this world and take care of his family and make sense of it all. I wasn't blessed with Sons who have the backs of white mouth mules who can work as hard as the day is long like me. I was given two little tender and sweet baby girls who look up to me in a major way to guide them on their paths into adulthood. I wouldn't trade em' for a golden monkey either.
I read this post that the HuffPo picked up and published on their site. It's good stuff to know. I don't know about you guys, but I've never gotten the manual from the hospital that they send home with each kid that tells you how to take care of and make sure your kids grow up to be successful people in life. It's tricky sometimes.
I'm guilty of not doing some of these things. I don't look at it as being "conditioned" or being "trained" on how to take care of daughters or raise them by being asked to read this article by my wife at all. Hell, I'll take all the help I can get since I know I'm quite strict and demanding at times with my kids and have to remember I'm not dealing with a squad of Marines who I expect to hop-to with the quickness when I say "GO!". My oldest understands my expectations the majority of the time, but she slips up just like everyone else. She's human. I know she's human. But sometimes, I just cannot let go of her view on how to do certain things. I do things with Speed and Intensity. I was taught to walk with a purpose in life and with everything you do, try and do it well. Make it count.
It's taken years for me to learn to slow down and develop patience for their ever developing young minds that are full of questions. I really work hard at being a great dad and try to put them first ahead of every thing else in my life, but with a stressful career and having to keep up with the rat race, sometimes a lot of attention they need gets overlooked. I can admit I have things to work on. Wish me luck...
Here's a small sample of:
15 Things All Dads of Daughters Should Know
1. She wants to be loved. More than she wants the stuff you can buy her or the things you can teach her, she wants you to love her. No one else on Earth can assume your role as daddy. Your daughter will let you down, make huge mistakes, and maybe even turn her back to you for a season, but don't ever let her doubt your love for her. Look her in the eye and tell her you love her. Lots.
2. You have an influence on her future partner. Scary thought, but the kind of man you are to her will have a direct impact on who she chooses to marry some day. For years, our third daughter would beg me to marry her when she grew up. I had to explain that I was already married to her amazing mother. If you're doing it right, she'll want to marry someone like you one day.
3. Listen to her music. When my girls are in my car, you'll be able to catch us rocking out to the following Pandora stations: Taylor Swift, One Direction, Cody Simpson, Kidz Bop Radio, Katy Perry, you get the point. Not stations I'd listen to on my own (with one exception -- I love Taylor Swift), but when it lights them up, it lights me up.
4. She's watching how you treat her mom. If you take one thing out of this entire list, make it this. One of the best things you can do for your daughter is to love her mom well. It's easy to be child-centered. Running from one kid activity to another. But fight for your marriage and make it a priority. The seasons of life when I lose focus on dating Brooke (my wife) are also the same seasons when our children have more issues. I don't think that's coincidental. Love your wife, make time to date her, take her on trips, and show your kids that she is a bigger priority than they are.

It was an awesome weekend. I went to a family reunion up in the pine thicket of East Texas. The red clay dirt is still on my boots! It's been 3.5 years since I've been to my old stomping grounds. I can tell you this, it's just as slow and rural as it has ever been. I can't tell you how many times I got asked "Man, when are you moving back up here?" or "Don't you miss being gone from the place you grew up and the people you grew up with?" My answer is always the same to those... I tell them that I don't miss it much and that where I grew up has very little to no opportunity to support my career choice and means of survival.
It's a small place with a lot of small minds still roaming about and the conversations I have there are very simple most of the time. I don't bring up things that involve critical thinking or stuff like my political and religious beliefs because there'd be an exorcism by the mernin'! Get thee behind me, Satan! Y'all know the crowd I'm talking about. The ones that want to be in everyone's business to try and tell them how to live their lives... That's not my cup o' tea.
I've been gone from there for the last 16 years and haven't looked back. I had to get away from there in order to expand my life, if that makes any sense... The majority of the cousins my age have also moved away, but it was good to see all of them. We put down a gallon handle of Strawberry Blonde and stayed up late cracking jokes and bullshittin' out by the bonfire all night.
I remember some of the people who've never left there telling me I'd be back home needing help and that the world was going to chew me up and spit me out... This is for them.

A 12 off the coast of Africa?
Is that even possible?
That's huge. That would make it the biggest ever recorded.
In the Congo Basin?
Depth of 0 feet?
I'm kind of thinking massive Tsunamis and thousands of people dead by now...
It has to be a joke.
Oh now isn't that convenient... Now it doesn't show it at all. My screenshot does though...

I'm finally getting around to finishing a build I've been working on for the last year or so. I was sitting down having a conversation the other night with my smokin' hot little barefoot gardening squaw and she says to me "I need to go to the range with you, you know...you take your boys but I never get to go and it be just me and you. I want to be able to do what you do with a rifle when you need me to do it. I'm going to be the one with you when it matters, not your boys.." Okay okay... Don't twist my arm lady! Point taken. I'll finish this rifle build and let you run it to spit as much venom as you think need to baby. I'm not putting any pink shit on it though, so don't even ask. This is obviously important to her at this time because she brought it up. When you have an Alpha female supporting you in all of your Alpha caveman endeavors it's important that you support her right back when she says she wants to go shoot with you. My current high speed impalement device of choice it a bit too heavy for her so this should serve her well.
So far I have assembled a Spikes lower to a BCM Upper, stage 2 RRA trigger pack, Magpul milspec OD CTR stock, Magpul MOE-K2 OD pistol grip, low pro block, YHM Phantom hider, KNS Pin kit, Badger Ordinance charging handle with ambi tac-latch, Spikes milspec 6 pos carbine buffer kit.
I am looking around today for a 15" light rail to shroud the block. Key mod or slotted with QD swivel holes would be good. I still need a barrel too. Been looking around at Classic Firearms. They've got a nice selection of fluted HBARs in 16" I'm digging. I also need a damn BCG. Going Nickel Boron this time.
Almost there...
Don't need any magazines for her kit. I've got Stackz of them. :)
Law enforcement presses on in hunt for Frein
HARRISBURG - The state's top cop vowed Tuesday to continue deploying needed resources to capture suspected cop killer Eric Matthew Frein.
"Our focus is on catching Frein to bring him to justice," said Frank Noonan of Clarks Summit following a closed-door briefing with state lawmakers at the state Capitol. "The manhunt is not being impacted because of a lack of resources."
Frein, of 308 Seneca Lane, Canadensis, is accused of using a .308-caliber rifle to shoot and kill Cpl. Bryon K. Dickson II of Dunmore and Trooper Alex T. Douglass of Olyphant during a Sept. 12 sniper attack at the Blooming Grove state police barracks in Pike County. Tuesday marked the 32nd day authorities have been searching for Frein, focusing the past few weeks in a dense wooded area straddling Barrett and Price townships in Monroe County.

I haven't heard much about this lately at all. Thanks a lot Ebola. Surely there's got to be someone helping him. You don't make it this long on energy bars without help or being out of the country. My guess is he's not even here anymore. That bird squawked, shit, and flew off a long time ago.
